MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission Statement of the Freehold Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
 

To create and maintain a quality singing organization that promotes the Barbershop singing style, and educates its’ members, the public, music educators and students, about an original American Art Form - Barbershop Harmony.
 

To serve each new generation of singers through support of vocal music education.

To perpetuate and celebrate  the uniquely American barbershop harmony style of singing.

To improve community awareness of barbershop harmony, by an active program of appearances at local schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and performances at other public venues throughout the year.

To participate in community, health care, and charitable activities, by serving audiences through an uplifting, wholesome variety of  a capella musical entertainment.
 

To encourage our members to recruit new singers by sustaining an atmosphere of mutual respect, cooperation, and individual growth.
